Traffic forecasts

Drivers should expect longer travel times, especially on sections where there are works.

To June 15, every day between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., the road to Vršič will be closed due to works. Between 5 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., there will be alternating one-way traffic, with traffic lights.

On the A2 motorway, through the Karavanke tunnel, traffic will flow alternately in one direction, with a wait in front of the tunnel: Wednesday, June 10, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Maximum width up to 3.75m. 

The Vipava expressway H4 will be closed on the section Razdrto - Vipava towards Nova Gorica from Saturday, May 24, from 7:30 AM to Sunday, May 25, until 8 PM. Traffic will be redirected to the parallel regional road.

The A1 motorway will be closed on the Brezovica - Vrhnika section:
- towards Koper on Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26, between 9 p.m. and 4.30 a.m. Detours during the closure will be arranged via the new junction;
- towards Ljubljana on Tuesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 29, between 10.30 p.m. and 4.30 a.m. Detours will be arranged via the regional road.
