High traffic volumes are expected to pass through Slovenia due to active tourist season.

Drivers are reminded of works and events, as well as restrictions on freight traffic.
Major works and the possibility of congestion:
• A1, Maribor–Ljubljana, between the Dramlje and Slovenske Konjice junctions, traffic will be single lane in both directions until the end of September. The entry to the motorway to Ljubljana at Slovenske Konjice is closed.
• A2, Obrežje–Ljubljana, between the Trebnje West and Bič junctions, with two narrowed lanes in each direction.
• A2, Obrežje–Ljubljana, Starine rest area–Novo mesto East junction, traffic will be single lane in each direction.
• A1, Ljubljana–Koper, Kozina junction–Kastelec tunnel, traffic in two narrowed lanes. The entry to the motorway to Ljubljana at Kastelec is closed.
• Ljubljana Ring - bypass.
H4, expressway - Nanos - Nova Gorica > Italy, more info.
Until mid-November 2025, the section H4 between the Nanos junction and Vipava towards Nova Gorica is closed due to the implementation of wind protection measures, work on structures and the renovation and resurfacing of the roadway.
The detour for local traffic is via the regional road from Razdrto to Vipava. At the Vipava junction, vehicles can rejoin H4 (this applies to drivers of all passenger vehicles, buses, and local freight traffic with destinations in Slovenia).
The detour for transit freight traffic over 3.5 tons (LKW) towards Italy is directed via the Fernetiči crossing. Traffic from Vipava towards Razdrto is flowing smoothly in both lanes of H4, without diversions.
Limitation of cargo traffic in Slovenia

- on Saturdays from 8:00 to 13:00 and on coastal roads from 6:00 to 16:00;
