During the European Basketball Championship EuroBasket 2013, held from 4th to 22nd September 2013 in Slovenia, an increased traffic in the vicinity of the following venues: Celje, Ljubljana, Jesenice, Koper is expected at the time of matches. Drivers are asked to pay attention to the expected large number of buses with police escort.

During the round 1 of the competition taking place from 4th to 9th September 2013 we expect traffic congestion in particular in the metropolitan area of the venues and on motorway exists, leading to the venues.
In Celje please draw particular attention to traffic during the Slovenian national team matches, in Koper during the matches with the Italian national team and in Jesenice at the time of matches involving teams from the area of former Yugoslavia.
In Ljubljana, an increased traffic is expected in the second part of the competition, in particular in the event of matches with the Slovenian national team. The venue of all matches of the second part of the competition is the Stožice Stadium (Stadion Stožice), where the usual traffic arrangements as for big events apply.

If traveling to the matches by car please follow these signs:

Since in the event of an increased traffic, already a minor accident may lead to longer delays, all visitors of an Eurobasket match are advised to take sufficient time for the journey and the others to avoid roads in the proximity of the venues during matches. Consult the list of matches per venue on the official site of the championship.
