In winter days, it is necessary to account for longer travel times, greater safety distances and in case of emergency events or conditions, also for possible road closures and detours.

Prevention

We urge drivers to clean their vehicle before starting their journey.

The Road Traffic Act, in addition to winter equipment, also requires the driver to have a cleaned vehicle; motor vehicles and trailers in traffic must not have snow, ice, water, or other substances that could affect the vehicle's handling or could scatter or spill from it.

Let's remember that ice falling from a truck at a speed of, for example, 80 kilometers per hour from a height of three meters can injure the driver or passenger in a car and disrupt traffic due to debris on the road.

Let's all make sure that driving is as safe as possible.
