Due to the reconstruction and arrangement of parking lots at the top of the pass, the road to Vršič will be closed from October 12th every weekday between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM.
In the meantime and on weekends, partial closures are expected. During the complete closure, expected until October 12th, the detour will take place through the border crossing Predel or Rateče.
Access to the Koča na Gozdu from Kranjska Gora will be available at all times, while access from Trenta to Tičar's home will be permitted if site conditions allow.
Before 7:30 AM and after 5:00 PM, as well as on weekends, there will be partial closures until October 12th.
The partial closure will also apply from October 12th to November 28th, 2025, or as long as weather conditions permit. During this time, traffic will alternate in one direction with traffic lights. Parking will be possible on areas along the road below the pass on both sides of the road, according to DRSI.
