Permitted traffic of lorries over 7.5 tons change in Slovenia

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia has issued a Decree declaring an epidemic of the infectious disease COVID 19 in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia (UL RS, No. 35/21), with effect from 18 March 2021, extending the declared epidemic of COVID 19 until 16 April 2021.

In accordance with the aforementioned decree and the decision of Article 6 of the Order on the Restriction of Traffic on Roads in the Republic of Slovenia (OJ RS, No. 75/11), the following will be on the roads in the Republic of Slovenia:

 "from 18 March 2021 to 16 April 2021 inclusive" the authorized traffic of lorries and common vehicles with a maximum authorized mass exceeding 7,5 tonnes, also on Sundays and work days off from 8 am to 9 pm.


"It does not apply during the Easter holidays, from 3 to 5 April 2021, regardless of the permitted traffic of lorries in the period from 18 March 2021 to 16 April 2021 inclusive.

The exemption therefore does not apply to lorries destined for neighboring countries where the release of traffic does not apply during this period.
